"Ing." is a professional title awarded under the Austrian Engineering Act 2017 (Ingenieurgesetz 2017). "Dipl.-Ing." and "BSc" are academic degrees awarded in Austria.
Mediation training was completed in accordance with the requirements of the Austrian Civil Law Mediation Act (Zivilrechts-Mediations-Gesetz, ZivMediatG). There is currently no entry in the list of registered mediators kept by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice. Confidentiality in mediations is therefore based on contractual agreement rather than on § 18 ZivMediatG; the special legal effects of mediation under the ZivMediatG (in particular the right to refuse testimony under § 320 (4) of the Austrian Code of Civil Procedure, ZPO, and the suspension of limitation periods under § 22 ZivMediatG) do not apply.
